Terms of Service

These terms cover VideoGo, the browser extension and this website. Installing or buying it means accepting them. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.
What VideoGo is
A browser extension that recognises video streams on a page and saves them to your own computer. It runs entirely in your browser. We do not host, store, transmit or serve any of the video you download.
Your responsibility for what you download
This is the part that matters most, so it is not buried.
VideoGo is a tool. What you use it on is your decision and your responsibility. Most video on the internet belongs to somebody, and downloading it may be restricted by copyright law or by the terms of the site serving it.
You agree to use VideoGo only where you have the right to, which typically means:
- Video you made or own
- Video published under a licence that permits downloading
- Video you have the copyright holder's permission to download
- Uses that are lawful in your country, such as fair dealing or private copying
You agree not to use it to infringe copyright, to bypass access controls, or to redistribute what you download without the right to do so. We do not monitor what you download — we cannot, because nothing reaches us — and we accept no responsibility for it. If you are unsure whether a particular download is permitted, it is on you to find out before doing it.
What VideoGo will not do
VideoGo does not and will not download videos from YouTube or remove digital rights management. It switches itself off entirely on Netflix, Disney+, Crunchyroll and other protected services, and refuses protected streams elsewhere rather than producing a broken file. This is not a limitation we intend to lift.
Licence
You get a personal, non-transferable right to use VideoGo. You may not resell it, rent it, or pass your licence to someone else. You may not decompile or modify the extension except where the law expressly allows it.
Free trial and paid licences
The free trial is five downloads within seven days of your first download. It does not renew.
Two paid options:
- Monthly — a subscription, billed each month until you cancel.
- Lifetime — one payment, for the life of the product.
Prices are shown at checkout and are what you pay. "Lifetime" means the life of VideoGo as a product; it is not a promise that any company will exist forever, and no honest seller can make that one.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Cancel a subscription at any time through the billing portal; cancelling stops future charges and does not refund past ones.
Refunds
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a legal right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days. We honour that right.
Outside those regions we consider refund requests within 14 days of purchase. Write to support@videogo.space with the email address you paid from.
If something does not work, tell us before disputing the charge with your bank. A dispute costs us a fee on top of the refund and takes longer for you than simply asking.
No guarantee that it works everywhere
VideoGo is provided as it is. Websites change how they deliver video, frequently and without warning, and a site that works today may not tomorrow. We do not guarantee that any particular site, video or quality will work, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Downloading happens on your machine using your browser's resources. Large files take time and memory, and some very large conversions may not be possible on your hardware.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profits, or any claim arising from what you chose to download. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed what you paid us in the twelve months before it.
Nothing here removes rights you hold as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may end your licence without refund if you use VideoGo to break the law or these terms.
Disclaimer
VideoGo is for personal use. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to download what you download, and for complying with the terms of the sites you visit. Misuse can have legal consequences for you.
We host no content. A download happens directly between you and the site serving it — nothing passes through us, and we have no way to see or check what you take. We do not monitor it and we are not responsible for it.
Respect copyright and the people who made the work. Do not use VideoGo for unauthorised distribution, public broadcast, or commercial purposes. Doing so may expose you to action by rightsholders or authorities.
VideoGo may link to or work alongside third-party services — Stripe for payment and Supabase for accounts among them. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and using them is at your own risk. Their terms and privacy policies are their own.
We may change or discontinue VideoGo at any time, including its features, how it works, or the service as a whole. Continuing to use it after a change means accepting it.
Do not modify VideoGo, create derivative works from it, or attempt to defeat its licensing. Its code and design are protected by intellectual property law and the licence granted above is personal to you.
Two honest notes on that last point. A browser extension's code is delivered to your own computer and can be read there — we are not pretending otherwise, and nothing here asks you not to look. And where the law of your country gives you a right to decompile software for interoperability, as EU and UK law do, that right stands and this clause does not remove it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, and the courts of Morocco have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use VideoGo after that means accepting the new version.
